Jobs on Campus Info Session

The University of Newcastle Library is looking for a current student to join the Special Collections team as a paid intern. The intern will be working on the Virtual Technologies Activation Project.

This project aims to showcase the Library’s 3D and virtual imaging technologies (e.g. 3D scanner, VR headsets, MatterPort scanner) to researchers and students, to drive engagement and use of them to digitise creative outputs.

This internship provides opportunities to use 3D virtual technologies and equipment in the Library’s GLAMx Lab to digitise and promote items held in Special Collections and exhibition spaces.

This role will be based at the Callaghan Campus or Newcastle City Campus, and the successful applicant will be required to work 10-15 hours per week until mid-July.

Interested? Come along to this online information session to hear more details about the position. We will provide tips on how to submit a high-quality application and outline the support available to help you through the application process.
