Jobs on Campus: Residential Mentors
The University is looking for current students to join the Student Living team as Residential Mentors.
Residential Mentors form an integral part of the Student Living team and have high expectations placed upon them as leaders and role models within the Student Living community. These roles offer a unique opportunity to work while you study and gain invaluable leadership and mentoring experience.
Residential Mentors are responsible for providing a key role in assisting the transition of residents to independent living and facilitating a positive student experience. Residential Mentors provide general support for residents, education in successful shared living situations and act as role-models for appropriate behaviour. Residential Mentors also identify and manage inappropriate behaviour through clear and positive intervention practices and referral to University of Newcastle Student Living Staff as required.
