Jobs on Campus: Residential Mentors

The University’s Student Living team are looking for current residents to become Residential Mentors. Residential Mentors are responsible for providing a key role in assisting the transition of residents to independent living and facilitating a positive student experience. Residential Mentors provide general support for residents, education in successful shared living situations and act as role-models for appropriate behaviour. Residential Mentors also identify and manage inappropriate behaviour through clear and positive intervention practices and referral to University of Newcastle Student Living Staff as required.
Positions are available at the following residences for Semester Two:
- International House
- East Tower
- North Tower
- Edwards Hall
- Blue Gum House (Central Coast)
