We are looking for dynamic and inspiring students to train as casual PASS (Peer Assisted Study Session) Leaders at the Callaghan, Newcastle City, and Ourimbah campuses.
The Peer Assisted Study Sessions (PASS) Program offers a structured study support system with regularly scheduled, peer-facilitated sessions outside of class. Led by mentors called PASS Leaders, these sessions are designed to help students enhance their understanding of course material and improve their grades.
PASS Leaders receive training in facilitating positive, collaborative group learning, conducting effective study sessions, and fostering a supportive learning environment. Successful applicants will facilitate between one to three sessions per week at times that are negotiated around class schedule of the students in the course and the Leader’s personal class schedule. These are casual, paid positions.
Interested? Come along to this online information session to hear more details about the position. We will provide tips on how to submit a high-quality application and outline the support available to help you through the application process.
