Jobs on Campus Info Session: Library Intern (Special Collections)
The Library is looking for a current student to join their team as an Intern at the Callaghan campus.
This internship is for an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander student to be based in the Library’s Special Collections team. The intern will work with Special Collections staff to increase knowledge around the Aboriginal material culture items in the Percy Haslam collection and put representations of these objects online to be more accessible for learning, teaching and research. This will involve photographing, documenting, describing and creating metadata for selected object(s) within the collection and finding information on the background, traditional owners, creation and use of the object(s).
This is a paid internship for approximately 10 hours per week for 15 weeks, commencing in early August.
