Jobs on Campus Info Session - Student Peer Support Assistant (Makerspace)

The University of Newcastle Library are looking for two current students to join their team as Student Peer Support Assistants (MakerSpace).
In this role, you'll help students and academic staff explore technologies including 3D printing, virtual reality, robotics, electronics, sewing, embroidery and digital design. You'll help people use Makerspace equipment, troubleshoot basic technical issues and contribute to activities, programs and social media content. You'll also help create a welcoming space where students can experiment, learn new skills and bring their ideas to life.
Successful applicants will join a pool of casual staff based at Callaghan campus. You'll need to be available at least 1 to 2 days per week between 10 am and 3 pm during Semesters and the Midyear session.
