The University of Newcastle (UON) is proud to be collaborating with strategic partners Amazon Web Services (AWS), Deloitte and CSA, on a truly exciting event – The University of Newcastle Cloud Immersion Day on Thursday, 17 October 2019.

The day will provide attendees with the opportunity to explore real and working proof of concepts of how Cloud technology can solve key challenges and unlock value in the Higher Education sector.

WHAT?

Through immersive stations you will have the opportunity to interact with real working prototypes leveraging technologies including machine and deep learning, bots, Artificial Intelligence, voice interactions and automation.

Information stations will showcase AWS Cloud security, education and learning opportunities. It will also answer crucial questions around adoption of Cloud technologies: what is possible in the Cloud, what are the security implications, and what are the costs?

Cloud Specilalists will be available to address your key questions and areas of interest around the adoption of cloud technologies ranging from security and compliance, enablement (including free certification tools), migration, data lakes, and more...
