Caroline Zilinsky X Claim Our Place
Join artist Caroline Zilinsky with the Claim Our Place and University Galleries teams for a workshop exploring observational drawing.
Caroline will discuss her own approach to observing political and social landscapes and lead participants to create their own pen and ink post-card (of a subject/story of your choosing).
The workshop is open to women and gender diverse victim-survivors and advocates/allies (students and staff). The session will focus on drawing/observing social and political moments. Participants will not be asked to discuss or share experiences of gender-based violence.
Refreshments will be provided.
About the artist
Caroline Zilinsky’s work captures and deciphers political and social moments. She has the courage to paint the uncomfortable. Her paintings are uniquely beautiful in their skewed realism.
