Back in 1965, our region took a bold step forward gaining independence from the University of New South Wales and creating a university dedicated to our communities, driving innovation, and shaping the future through world-class education and research. Since then, Autonomy Day has grown into one of the most iconic and anticipated events on the student calendar. 

This year, we’re taking it to the next level.
