Join us for a special screening of Acropolis Cats & Other Wondrous Animals, followed by a live Q&A with filmmaker and University of Newcastle academic, Mary Zournazi. Exploring the lives of stray cats in post-pandemic Athens, the documentary reflects on compassion, tragedies of human-animal relationships, animal welfare and the environment, while demonstrating how academic research can reach broader audiences through creative storytelling.
