Women in Leadership - Morning Tea

The University of Newcastle is hosting several morning tea events across the Callaghan, Ourimbah, Sydney and Port Macquarie campuses.

Callaghan – Staff Morning Tea

Time: 10.30am (for 10.45am start) – 11.30am

Location: University Gallery, Callaghan campus

Our guest speaker is Dr Emina Subasic, Senior Lecturer in the School of Psychology. Dr Subasic came to Australia as a refugee from Bosnia and Herzegovina in 1997. Her research areas include leadership, social change and mobilising men and women for gender equality.

Emina and PhD candidate Dr Stephanie Hardacre are cited in former Prime Minister Julia Gillard's recently released book 'Women and Leadership - Real Lives, Real Lessons'.

The Ourimbah morning tea is open to both staff and students and will precede the UNSA-led initiatives that will be on campus and Facebook Live.
