National Nutrition Week
National Nutrition Week is running from 16 - 20 October and we want staff to take five…servings of vegetables daily for optimal health. Join the following activities that will be running to promote healthy eating and to prove that it doesn’t have to be a chore.
Monday 16 October
11am - 1pm – Callaghan: Nutrition information tables, Hunter Building, Brennan Room, Park on the Hill. Staff pick up your free food portion placemat.
11am - 1pm – New Space: Healthy cooking demonstrations in Campus Green Courtyard with Chef Daniel. Come along for some free samples and pick up your free food portion placemat.
Tuesday 17 October
12 - 1pm – RW149 Callaghan: Staff Seminar - Healthy Eating on the Run. If you’re getting sick and tired of living on caffeine and sugar roller coaster, book your place now via Discover and find out how you can eat your way to greater productivity. Remember to pick up your free food portion placemat at the seminar.
11am - 1pm – Ourimbah: Sails area outside the cafeteria. Nutrition Information. Staff pick up your free food portion placemat and free soup.
10am - 2pm – Auchmuty Courtyard Callaghan: Community garden promotion.
10am - 2pm – Bar on the Hill Callaghan: Veggie Box promotion.
Friday 20 October
10am - 2pm – Shortland Building and Hunter concourse at Callaghan: Free fruit and vegetables.
