Getting Started with GenAI in Education

This workshop introduces using generative AI (GenAI) to enhance teaching and learning for educators and students. You will explore student perspectives of GenAI, experiment with common GenAI tools and platforms, and learn how to leverage GenAI tools in your classroom. The workshop offers student-centred strategies, incorporating hands-on experience using GenAI into teaching and learning, and provide practical strategies for further exploration of AI in education.
This session is aimed at academic teaching staff.
