This practical session, facilitated by LDTI's Education Development team, walks through a well-structured Canvas course where students always know what to do next.
You will see examples of clearly signposted weekly or topic-based modules, integrated course readings and complementary activities, and setting thoughtful prerequisites so students move through content in a logical sequence.
The session will also cover creating a concise orientation module in Week 0, planning timely content release, checking links and basic accessibility, and reducing cognitive load by viewing your site through a student’s eyes.
