AI in Action: Deep Research

This Webinar is scheduled for Friday 6 Mar 2026 from 12:00pm

Text only:

The LDTI AI in Action sessions are an opportunity for staff to come together and discuss how they are using GenAI in their teaching, learning, and research. Each 30-minute session includes a brief demonstration and time for Q&A.

Join Nick Stevens from the Integrated Innovation Network (I2N) to explore “deep research” capabilities of GenAI.
GenAI research is like having an assistant that can read the web (and papers), compare sources, and explain what it finds in plain English—with links so you can check. Instead of skimming dozens of tabs yourself, you ask a question and the tool hunts, filters, and stitches the best bits into a clear summary. It won’t replace expert judgement, but it can save hours and help you start with better evidence.

More information is available on the Academic Integrity, Artificial Intelligence, and Standards Working Group site, or read more about I2N.

AI in Action sessions will be recorded and made available via the Artificial Intelligence Community of Practice. Please contact LDTI if you would like to present at a future Ai in Action session.
