Newcastle Music Festival: Madeleine Easton in Recital
A person in a black dress holding a violin and bow
The Australian violinist Madeleine Easton is internationally recognised for her versatility and expertise on stage. Throughout her career, a desire to combine period and modern playing has led to unique opportunities to work with a variety of ensembles worldwide. She performs internationally, appearing as soloist, concertmaster and director of some of the world’s most respected ensembles and orchestras. In this concert Madeleine will be joined by associate artist, pianist Clemens Leske.
Madeleine returned to Australia in 2019 to devote her energy to her ensemble, Bach Akademie Australia. Formed in 2016, it has now become a mainstay on the Australian baroque music scene.
