James Morrison is renowned globally as one of the finest jazz players of his generation, known not only as a trumpet virtuoso but also as an educator and all-around entertainer. Wynton Marsalis said it best: “Man, James Morrison can play!”
No matter how familiar you may be with James Morrison, you haven’t heard him play until you’ve heard him with this group. What makes the quartet so special is the joy they create when they perform. James says, “This is what can happen when you have four musicians who all have a will to swing and are of one mind when it comes to the reason they play”.
