- Hunter Region Botanic Gardens Saturday 22 July 1 pm
Concurrent indoor and outdoor exhibitions, showcasing sculpture by 20 prominent Hunter Region artists. The first, a Gallery installation of small sculptures in the University of Newcastle’s Watt Space Gallery, Aukland St, Newcastle. The second, an expression of large works, by the same artists, nestled within the Rainforest area of Hunter Region Botanic Gardens, Pacific Hwy, Heatherbrae.
Nineteen artists explore, challenge and interrogate the dialogue that has long existed between architectural sculptural form and the natural environment for this exhibition at the Hunter Region Botanic Gardens and Watt Space Gallery.
This exhibition is a partnership between the Hunter Region Botanic Gardens + the University Galleries, Watt Space.
