During Orientation we introduce new students to the University. These sessions are your chance to meet staff, discover your campus and learn more about being a University of Newcastle student - and you'll also get a yummy BBQ lunch on us!

9:00am - 10:15am Griffith Duncan Theatre (HD01) Welcome Session and Student Panel
Welcome and information to help you kick off your studies at UON.
10:15am - 10:45am Griffith Duncan Theatre Foyer (HD01) Morning Tea / Speed Chat
Meet other people starting the same program as you. It's a great way to get to know people you might be sitting next to in the first lecture.
10:45am - 11:45am  Various Locations Program Information Sessions
Learn all the important information about your program.
11:45am - 12:45pm Various locations Campus Tours
Other students will show you around - and they know what it's like to be a 'newbie' so they will know the best ways to avoid getting lost during those crucial first weeks at uni.
12:45pm - 1:45pm Bar on the Hill Lunch / Information Stalls
Join us for a free BBQ lunch and explore our stalls to find out more info about UON.
1:45pm - 2:45pm Various locations

Campus Quest
The Campus Quest takes its participants on a fun and informative tour around the University grounds to its most notable places and venues. Head over to the starting point after lunch and be prepared for the University tour of a lifetime!.

2:00pm - 4:00pm Bar on the Hill

Enjoy a drink on us in O Week. Simply grab your 'Our Shout' voucher from your orientation pack and head to one of the venues below for your free beverage.
