Solving the STEM Teacher Shortage
Text reads: 'Solving the STEM teacher shortage #IDEASCOLLIDER' with the HunterWiSE logo'
You’re invited to join us for our next HunterWiSE event, hosted in collaboration with I2N, the University of Newcastle’s Integrated Innovation Network.
This hands-on workshop is aimed at addressing the critical shortage of STEM teachers. Led by Tayla Furey - herself a former teacher, now working at the intersection of education and entrepreneurship - this event will harness collective insights and provide opportunities to collaborate to solve a pressing issue.
HunterWiSE recognises the influential role that teachers play in encouraging the participation of girls in STEM education - and ultimately, in increasing gender diversity in STEM. Current, former, and prospective secondary STEM teachers, career advisers, and educators with an interest in influencing the STEM landscape are encouraged to participate and bring expert insights to the conversation.
Don’t miss the opportunity to be part of this ‘ideas collider’, and address one of the pressing issues facing STEM education.
