Chromatic Festival 2023

This event was held on Wednesday 1 November 2023

Chromatic Festival is back in 2023 and is jam-packed with engaging events and celebrating students, industry partnerships and alumni from the School of Humanities, Creative Industries and Social Sciences.

Chromatic Festival is an annual celebration of creativity, critical thinking, culture, and student life across the School of Humanities, Creative Industries and Social Sciences at the University of Newcastle. The focal point of the festival is a Grad Showcase of the practice and outcomes of graduating students across design, communication, media, liberal arts, music, and performance. Across five days, the festival program includes exhibitions, art tours, live performances, film screenings and more. Check out the festival program here.

The driving force of Chromatic Festival is the student team who are responsible for all elements of the festival, from technical and media production to event management, PR and marketing. The festival is an invaluable opportunity for students to gain industry experience in a supportive environment, as they transition to life-ready graduates.
