Inaugural Brain Cancer Research Symposium

The University of Newcastle’s Mark Hughes Foundation Centre for Brain Cancer Research is officially on the countdown for the inaugural Brain Cancer Research Symposium. The MHF was established in 2022 thanks to a generous philanthropic donation from the MHF and the ongoing support from the University to brain cancer research. The centre aims to promote collaboration and accelerate progress in research into brain cancers.
The 2023 Symposium Theme is 'How can we collaborate to accelerate progress in brain cancer research?'
The program will take place over six sessions with a final session incorporating National Collaboration and Research Groups:
- Patient Experience
- Paediatric Brain Cancer
- Experimental Therapeutics
- Brain Cancer Imaging
- Translational Neuroscience
- Blood Based Biomarkers
