Centre for Organic Electronics Undergraduate Summit
This two-day UNITAR-CIFAL accredited event, also known as the COE spring school, will give you a taste of the cutting-edge research that is going on in the Centre for Organic Electronics (COE) labs, highlighting the advantages of considering a career in research. This year the event is sponsored by the Trailblazer for Recycling and Clean Energy (TRaCE) program, Spruson&Ferguson, Kardinia Energy, Australian National Fabrication Facility, and the College of Engineering, Science and Environment, UON.
The school involves a mixture of presentations, demonstrations, a think tank, and hands-on learning experiences. Highlights include:
- Event bag with goodies!
- Fabrication of your own organic solar cell / biosensor.
- National and International guest speakers.
- Hands-on operation of the COE's facilities.
- Creating your own solutions to energy and sensor problems during a think tank session.
- Lots of Prizes.
- Students completing the spring school will get the event added to their academic transcript,
- Participating students get a certificate from the United Nations Institute for training and research.
The workshop is open to all undergraduate students from all colleges, including students from Science, Engineering & Built Environment, Health & Medicine, and Teaching degrees.

Lunch and morning tea is provided. Attendance is FREE but places are limited so register your interest as soon as possible!
