Support our students

Invest in future generations

At the University of Newcastle we believe in providing a world of opportunity for all people, regardless of their background and experiences. With your help we can increase the number of scholarships available to our dedicated students and help them achieve their full potential, now and into the future.

Why our students need support

A university education is a significant commitment that can place great demands on students and parents alike. Increasingly, even full-time students work long hours in part-time jobs to pay their way through university.

A scholarship can help with a range of expenses including:

  • fees
  • accommodation
  • text books and equipment
  • day to day living expenses
  • travel costs and work placements

By giving to a scholarship you can support a subject area or discipline that you are interested in, promote cultural activities through music and fine art, or  encourage participation in sporting disciplines.

A small gift can make a huge impact on the lives of many.

Give to a student prize

Our students have a strong record of making lasting contributions that enrich our community. In recognising the academic excellence of the many dedicated and high achieving students at the University of Newcastle you can help cement their path towards sharing their talent with our society.

By establishing a prize, you can encourage our best and brightest to continue their hard work at University and within our community. A prize can be established for any academic, artistic or athletic field and can be awarded to any undergraduate or postgraduate student.
