Honouring our donors

As a symbol of our gratitude, we’ve established a number of events and initiatives that honour the significant contribution of our donors.

Supporter Thank You Reception

Our annual Supporter Thank You Reception is an opportunity for us to come together with donors and share the impact of their generosity.

Bequest Morning Tea

A significant occasion in the University’s calendar, our Bequest Morning Tea allows us to reflect and honour those who have remembered us beyond their lifetime.

Supporters’ Honour Board

In recognition of those who give so generously through the University, we have established an Honour Board of our supporters that acknowledges past and present donors based on cumulative giving. It’s also proudly displayed in the Great Hall of our Callaghan Campus at all major University events.

Catalysts for change

All of our donors contribute to bringing about significant change in our world through their generosity. Here are some examples of  the extraordinary impacts they’ve made.

Make a gift Help us make a difference

The University of Newcastle acknowledges the traditional custodians of the lands within our footprint areas: Awabakal, Darkinjung, Biripai, Worimi, Wonnarua, and Eora Nations. We also pay respect to the wisdom of our Elders past and present.
