Arrival and Registration
Plan to arrive at least 90 minutes before your ceremony start time.
Parking & Transport
- A shuttle bus will be available to transport graduates and guests between the Callaghan campus and the Newcastle City Hall (Graduation venue). Check the Graduation shuttle bus timetable here.

Registration
- Graduates make their way to Level 5 in the NUspace building to register attendance and collect their Academic Dress and guest tickets. Our staff will be on hand to assist you in wearing your academic dress correctly.
- Guests can head straight to the Newcastle City Hall. Guest seating is not allocated, so please ask your guests to arrive early to secure their preferred seats.
- If you have any extra family and friends you wish to share this remarkable moment with, there will be a live stream of your graduation ceremony available onsite in the Newcastle Conservatorium of Music (Wednesday 16 and Thursday 17 July) and in NUspace rooms XG18 and X101 (Friday 18 July). Please visit the live streaming link and share it with your family and friends. A recording of the live stream will also be available on the website a few days after your ceremony.
