We have a dedicated International Student Support team delivering support services across our Callaghan, Central Coast, Newcastle City, and Sydney campuses.
Our friendly team welcomes international students and provides engagement events, activities and programs, as well as personal and study progress advice. We’ll support you and connect you with the right people to answer your specific questions and ensure you have a personally and academically rewarding experience.
Some of the things the international student support team can help you with include:
- Arrival and welcome information and advice for life in Australia
- Help understanding university processes and procedures
- Connecting you with university and community support services
- Advice on how to remain compliant with your Student Visa requirements
- Eligibility requirements and application process for study variations (Leave of Absence, Reduced Study Load, and extensions to your Confirmation of Enrolment COE certificate)
- Welfare support and guardianship for international students under 18 years of age
- Dedicated scholarship management and support for Australia Awards Students
- Events and activities to connect you with the community and provide you with a great experience while you study
