  • Please request a Confirmation of enrolment from the Program Advice team to ensure it covers the remainder of your studies before you reapply.
  • Please request a 1545 form from the Program Advice team to waiver the fee of your visa application.

The Australian Government requires all holders of a student visa to have approved health cover for the duration of their visa, Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC). Visit here for more information.

The Australian university regulator, TEQSA (Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency), has provided advice on flexible arrangements as a result of COVID-19 impact and border closures. This flexibility is currently applicable to the 2020 and 2021 academic years and will extend to the 2022 academic year (until offshore students return to Australia or when there is further advice from TEQSA).Please contact our international admissions team ia@newcastle.edu.au if you are not able to commence your studies in Australia.
