Programs

The University Galleries produces vibrant and varied public programs that support our exhibitions and community.

Workshops, book launches, artist talks, performances, and tours of our Art Collection are usually free events and available to all.

We partner with our researchers, University and wider community, and other cultural organisations to host and produce public events, including the New Annual Festival, Newcastle Writers Festival and The Lock-Up.

Staff and student workshops

We design and facilitate creative workshops for University staff and/or students in which participants are invited to create their own and collaborative artworks. The final artworks can be collated into digital artwork for use in specific online and on-campus spaces.
