Census Date: What is the last day I can drop a course without having to pay for it (semester 1, 2013)?
You have until March 31st at 11:59pm to unenrol from your courses in myHub. This date is known as the census date. If you drop your course by this date you are not required to pay for it and it will be removed from your enrolment and academic transcript. It is worth noting that 30 units is considered full time for Centrelink purposes.
If you’re an international student make sure that you speak with ESOS before making any changes to your enrolment.
SSAF Payment: Have you filled out your SA-Help form?
Australian citizens or holders of an Australian humanitarian visa will have the option of taking out an SA-HELP loan to cover the cost of the Student Services and Amenities Fee (similar to HECS-HELP or FEE-HELP for tuition fees). Students who don't complete an SA-HELP eCAF by census date will be required to pay the fee up front.

Semester 1 Uni break starts Friday 29 April!
Friday 29 April is a public holiday and it’s worth noting that classes are not on and you may need to catch them up (check with your Course Coordinator or on Blackboard).
The library and information commons will be closed for Easter holiday at 10:00pm Thursday 28th March, re-opens 8:00am Monday 1st April. Check out the library website for more information.
Classes resume on Monday 8 April (Semester week 5).
Trimester students: Friday 28/Mar/13 and Monday 01/Apr/2013 are public holidays - Classes will not be running on these days.
