May 2010

  • The ERA team has now locked RPM to assist in the optimisation process and this will continue until after the ERA 2010 submission.
  • The ARC has released its May 2010 ERA Newsletter.

March 2010

  • The ERA forum held on 9 March was a resounding success!  Thanks to all staff who attend and contributed to the discussion.
  • The Cluster Advisory Groups have now been set up and have begun the first round of the optimsation process.
  • The ARC has released its March 2010 ERA Newsletter.

February 2010

  • The ARC has released the final Ranked Conference List for ERA 2010, complete with assigned FoR codes for each conference.
  • The ARC has released the final Ranked Journal List for ERA 2010, complete with assigned FoR codes for each Journal.
  • By now each researcher will have received an email containing all of his/her publications for the 2003-2008 period and his/her personal FoR codes as currently exists in RPM.  Please contact the eRA team to confirm that this information is correct.

January 2010

  • The ARC has released the finalised Submission Guidelines for ERA 2010.
  • The ARC has released the finalised Discipline Indicator Matrices for ERA 2010.
  • The ERA team is currently collecting publication and FoR data for the period 2003-2008.

December 2009

  • The ARC has released the results for the Cluster 2 (HCA) Trial.
  • The final ranked journallist due to be released this month has been postponed until February 2010.
  • The ERA team is currently contacting individual researchers from Engineering, Humanities and the Arts to confirm that their publication list for 2003-2008 are complete and personal Field of Research (FoR) codes are correct - this should take no more than 15 minuntes.  Please take the time to respond to the ERA team's inquiries.

November 2009

  • The ARC has released the results for the Cluster 1 (PCE) trial.
  • The ERA team is currently contacting individual researchers from Health to confirm that their publication lists for 2003-2008 are complete and personal Field of Research (FoR) codes are correct - this should take no more than 15 minutes.  Please take the time to respond to the ERA team's inquiries.

September 2009

  • The ARC has released the ERA Indicators Consultation Paper, which include the suggested framework for the inclusion of esteem indicators, in order to develop a list of discipline-specific indicators for each cluster to be utilised for the ful ERA evaluation process.
  • The ERA team is awaiting feedback from Assistant Deans of Research before sending an institutional response to the ARC.

NOTE: The deadline for the institutional response to the ERA Indicators Consultation Paper has been extended to 2 October 2009.

August 2009

  • Cluster 2 (HCA) submission to the ARC completed 20 August 2009.  The ERA team would like to thank all researchers and related support staff for their contributions and input throughout the submission.
  • The ARC released the ERA Journal Title List on 25 August 2009 as part of the process to finalise the Ranked Journal List for the 2010 implementation of ERa.

June 2009

  • Cluster 1 (PCE) submission to the ARC completed 24 June 2009.  The ERA team would like to thank all researchers and related support staff for their contributions and input throughout the submission
