Safety

All users have to complete an induction before using any EMX facilities, and be trained on the equipment they wish to use by unit staff. Users will not train other users or carry out work for other people. All the equipment in the unit have Standard Operating Procedures, SOPs, which must be followed and not changed. All our SOPs have been passed by the Chemical & Radiation Safety Committee. If your project has potential hazards, you must provide a safety clearance number for the project.
