Applications

The Electron Microscope / X-Ray Unit provides a service to all university departments and a consulting service to external clients. The unit has facilities for Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) with Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy (EDS), X-ray Diffraction (XRD) and X-ray Fluorescence Spectroscopy (XRF). Users are trained to use the equipment and do their work themselves.
