Electron Microscope and X-Ray Unit

The Electron Microscope and X-Ray Unit provides a service to all university departments and a consulting service to external clients.  The unit has facilities for Transmission Electronic Microscopy (TEM), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) with Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy (EDS), X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) and X-Ray Fluoroscence Spectroscopy (XRF).  Users are trained to use the equipment and to do their own work.
