UAC offers

When you receive a UAC offer to study at UON, it is important to either accept or defer your offer.

You have seven days from the date of the offer letter to advise us whether you want to accept or defer your offer.

If you do not accept or defer your offer of admission within the period, it will lapse and you will need to contact Admissions on (02) 4921 5000 or email.

How to accept your offer

Once you have received your UAC offer to study at UON, you can accept online.

If you need to accept by mail, make sure you allow enough time for your paperwork to reach us. We advise you to return your acceptance by Express Post or Certified mail and keep the receipt as proof of postage.

How to defer your offer

If you accept an offer from UON, you may be able to delay the start date of your degree by up to one year.

Some degrees don't allow you to defer. There are also additional requirements if you want to defer a Bachelor of Medical Science and Doctor of Medicine or Bachelor of Midwifery. If you have previously deferred a degree offer, you are not eligible to apply for another deferment of the same degree. Carefully check the details in your offer.
