Book launch: Welcome to my country and  Take back the economy

The Centre for Urban and Regional Studies (CURS) is hosting a book launch to celebrate the release of two books:

Welcome to my Country is the product of an innovative Indigenous-academic research collaboration, that focuses on the patterns, rhythms and relationships that underpin ways of being and belonging at Bawaka in Northeast Arnhem Land.

Already a best seller on Amazon, Take Back the Economy explores what people across the globe are doing right now, in their own communities and in their own lives, to create ethical economies.

Leading Australian human geographer,Professor Richie Howitt (Macquarie University) will join us to introduce both books.
