We are excited to announce the Reconciliation Ball 2024, co-hosted with the College of Engineering, Science, and Environment, which will take place on Thursday 30 May 2024, in the Great Hall, Callaghan.
This event is a celebration of unity, understanding, and progress in our reconciliation journey. As we reflect on the theme for this year’s National Reconciliation Week, Now More Than Ever, we recognise that the fight for justice and the rights of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people must continue. Now more than ever, we need to tackle the unfinished business of reconciliation.
This year’s ball will feature the Minimbah Dancers, installations from the staff and students of the College of Engineering, Science, and Environment, as well as deadly local DJ Baker Boy to keep you on the dancefloor. A three-course meal and drinks package will be delivered by Local Connections, in collaboration with renowned Gamiliaraay Wonnorua Wailwan chef Corey Grech.
