School of Education
Gain the skills needed to empower future generations, inspire young minds, and become an advocate for the profession.
Shaping the future of education
We are one of the largest providers of initial teacher education in NSW, and have the largest funded Teacher Education Research Centre in Australia.
We believe that everyone has a right to access a good education. We engage in cooperative projects throughout the Indo-Pacific aiming to improve the educational provisions for people in our region.
Our researchers contribute to advances across all domains of learning. We use the Quality Teaching Model, inclusive and ethical practices, and a range of immersive technologies to provide better learning outcomes.
            Leading the way through technology
We are proud to be the first university in Australia to use multiple emerging and immersive technologies to prepare student teachers for placement.
SimTeach, SimCave and SimSchool are three platforms that immerse our pre-service teachers in virtual and hands-on experiences.
Study with us
Through our education degrees you’ll learn more than just how to teach. You’ll gain the skills needed to empower future generations, inspire young minds, and become an advocate for the profession.
