The University of Newcastle plays an important part in the renewed sense of vibrancy in the Newcastle CBD and our Newcastle City campus is very much at the centre of the city's burgeoning arts scene.
NUspace harnesses the latest in technology and innovation in teaching and learning to deliver a world-class student experience by engaging students in new and exciting ways. At Honeysuckle, Q Building provides state-of-the-art facilities for the School of Creative Industries (SOCI) and the Integrated Innovation Network (I2N) Hub and strengthens our presence in the Newcastle CBD.
Our wonderful Conservatorium of Music (part of the School of Creative Industries) is located in the Newcastle City campus. Its premier Concert Hall is a much-loved performance venue for local, interstate and international artists.
Also in our city campus are the Newcastle Legal Centre and Newcastle Graduate School of Business which are located in NUspace. Our student art gallery, the Watt Space Gallery, is located in the recently refurbished Northumberland House, directly across the road from University House.
Our city campus provides opportunities for us to reinforce our relations with the business community and increases the number of opportunities for our students to integrate their studies with work placements.
