There are a few ways you can apply for your undergraduate study degree based on your pathway. Use the tool below to find your application route.

If you’re completing your program this semester, or completed it last semester, there are two options available for applying to an undergraduate degree at the University of Newcastle:
Apply direct through Your Next Move
Apply for eligible undergraduate degrees offered at the University of Newcastle for Semester 2, 2026 through our Your Next Move process. Submitting a direct application is free and easy, just hit the Apply Now button below.
The following University of Newcastle degrees are not available for direct application through Your Next Move* and are only available for admission in Semester 1, 2027 through a UAC application:
- Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science (Honours) (Diagnostic Radiography)
- Bachelor of Midwifery
- Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours)
- Bachelor of Oral Health Therapy
- Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours)
- Bachelor of Speech Pathology (Honours)
- Joint Medical Program
*Excluded programs are reviewed annually and may change.
Apply through UAC
If you would like to apply for one of the programs listed above for Semester 1, 2027 you will need to submit a UAC application, which incurs a UAC application processing fee.
Submit your UAC application before 30 September 2026 to be eligible for the Early Bird Fee of $82. For details on UAC applications costs, please refer to UAC’s Applicant Processing Charges.
If you would like to apply to an Australian university in another state or territory, you’ll need to apply through the relevant Tertiary Admissions Centre and/or directly with the university.
Round 1
- Applications open: 8 April 2026
- Applications close: 8 June 2026 - 11:59pm
- Offers released: 19 June 2026 (7‑day acceptance window)
- Semester 1 exam period: 27 April – 9 May 2026
- Semester 1 fully graded date: 29 May 2026
Round 2
- Applications reopen: 1 July 2026
- Applications close: 2 August 2026
- Midyear fully graded date: 31 July 2026
Upon successful completion of your Pathway program, you are guaranteed entry into selected degrees at the University of Newcastle.

Apply for eligible undergraduate degrees offered at the University of Newcastle for Semester 2, 2026 through our Internal Transfer process. Applying for an Internal Transfer is free and easy, just hit the Apply Now button below.
The following University of Newcastle degrees are not available for Internal Transfer* and are only available for admission in Semester 1, 2027 through a UAC application:
