Stroke Recovery and Post-stroke Fatigue
PhD Opportunity
We invite expressions of interest to enrol in a PhD focused on post-stroke fatigue—a common, debilitating condition affecting over half of stroke survivors. It can persist for years, and currently, no evidence-based treatment is available.
Expression of Interest: PhD Opportunity in Post-Stroke Fatigue
What you’ll be working on:
- Conducting a comprehensive review of the literature on the prevalence and evidence related to post-stroke fatigue.
- Investigating the mechanisms and impacts of post-stroke fatigue
- Contributing to the design and evaluation of targeted interventions
- Collaborating with stroke survivors, clinicians, and researchers
Why join us?
Work alongside world-leading researchers in stroke rehabilitation with a strong track record of successful PhD supervision. You’ll benefit from exceptional mentorship, comprehensive research support, and professional development opportunities — both internally and through collaborations with leading universities and external organisations including the Stroke Foundation.
Applicants from a range of disciplines or fields will be considered, and if you're curious about whether your background might be a fit for this project, feel free to contact us. Full or part-time enrolment can be considered.
