In 2022, SABE students were tasked with reimagining Shortland Union as part of their studio project. View their final projects here.
Placemarker
Recent graduate, Laurance Low Wen Jieh, worked as part of a student team to develop a ‘placemarker’ on Callaghan Campus. The team designed a four-piece sculpture that was built and unveiled in April of 2022. From the right direction, the sculptures combine to depict the University of Newcastle seahorse emblem.
