Digital Design Studio
The Digital Design Studio is equipped with world leading computational design technologies including haptic modelling devices, 3D scanning devices and interactive graphic interfaces.
High-end computer software such as free-form modelling applications, parametric design applications and BIM have been installed in all student computers within the School. These advanced tools will contribute to the newly developed computational design strength of the School, preparing designers, architects and construction managers for the digital era.
The University of Newcastle acknowledges the traditional custodians of the lands within our footprint areas: Awabakal, Darkinjung, Biripai, Worimi, Wonnarua, and Eora Nations. We also pay respect to the wisdom of our Elders past and present.
