The Boyce FamilyEstablishment
Every member of the Boyce family worked to support their studies, and several were mature age students who returned to university after working full-time. Being aware of the challenges involved in combining work and study, the Boyce Family wish to support those who are disadvantaged and hope to enhance their future prospects by attaining a university degree.
The donors, Emeritus Professor Gordon Boyce and Mrs Evelyn Boyce, would be interested in connecting with the scholarship recipient during their studies. Emeritus Professor Gordon Boyce was the Head (Dean) of School of Business at the University of Newcastle from 2008 to 2010. Evelyn Boyce completed a BA in Business & Political Science initially working in the Customs sector clearing shipments across borders and filing tariff appeals. Later Evelyn Boyce worked in two government departments before transferring those skills to consulting on Information Management and Systems.
