Establishment

Calleo Indigenous Pty Ltd is a recruitment company and part of the Calleo Group which provides skilled professionals to Government and the private sector in the disciplines of data management, professional support services, capability statements, SAP delivery and scribing services.

Calleo is one of Australia’s fastest growing and most respected skills providers. Since its establishment the Calleo Group has grown to 25 permanent staff, including three Indigenous staff, and almost 300 contractors. Calleo is committed to attracting more Indigenous employees and contractors, and actively demonstrates its commitment to reconciliation by supporting Indigenous causes through the Calleo Indigenous Community Fund (CICF), including Calleo Indigenous Scholarships to Newcastle University and other tertiary institutions.

Calleo’s vision for reconciliation is to be an organisation that understands, acknowledges and respects Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander shared histories, cultures and peoples. Calleo sees a future where all Australians are reconciled and where equality of opportunity exists for all Indigenous Australians. To achieve this, Calleo is committed to learning more about our fellow Indigenous Australians and to helping ‘close the gap’ for them in accordance with their priorities.
