Peer review requirements
All human research ethics applications must comply with the University of Newcastle's Research Peer Review Guideline for Ethics Applications.
The peer review must occur before an application is submitted for ethics review and approval.
Peer reviewers and Heads of School must be independent of the proposed project and the investigators.
Peer reviewer panels must include experienced researchers in the research proposal field of study.
When lodging an ethics application, ensure completed versions of the following documents are included with your submission.
