Training for researchers

In person training

The University's Research Ethics Advisors provide discipline-specific human research ethics training to their College and/or School. This is available to all researchers and HDR candidates involved in human-based research projects.  Human Research Ethics Officers in the Research and Innovation Division can support the College-based teams as they build their training packages and co-host the training resources if requested.

To request a training session, contact the Research Ethics Advisor from your College and/or School.

Online resources

The Human Research Ethics team has developed a suite tools, templates and tip sheets for researchers. Use the resources when planning a new human research ethics application, or as part of the ongoing management of an approved ethics protocol.

Hosted on the University's internal ReSearchHub, the tools include:

  • sample applications
  • Participant Information Statements and Consent forms
  • peer review support tools
  • tip sheets and more.

Please note that the ReSearchHub is an internal resource and is accessible to University staff and HDR candidates only.
