Dr David Tomkins
Dr David Tomkins’ 2018 journal article, Implied Freedoms and Political Donations: The Unions New South Wales and McCloy Cases, provides a comprehensive analysis of the legalities of political donations in Australia this century. The journal is centered on research into two substantial cases, Unions NSW v State of New South Wales and McCloy v State of New South Wales. Dr Tomkins provides a high-level commentary on the outcome of each case whilst highlighting their contextual significance. The journal article is published on the Samuel Griffith Society website and is particularly relevant to those interested in constitutional and administrative law. For more information click here.
