What is the Difference Between Dementia and Alzheimer’s Disease?
What is the Difference Between Dementia and Alzheimer’s Disease? - Dr David Lowe 5:54
This microlearning aims to explain the difference between dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. Typically, dementia is a general term; however, Alzheimer’s disease is a specific brain disease. It is recognised by symptoms of dementia that gradually deteriorate over time. Alzheimer’s disease first impacts the part of the brain linked with learning, so early signs often include changes in memory, clarity in thinking, and inability to complete common daily skills.
