Podiatry in Everyday Life
Podiatry in Everyday Life - Dr Andrea Coda 6:11
This microlearning aims to explain how Podiatrists can help prevent complications that can impact people’s quality of life, physical activity, and most of all how Podiatrists can keep you pain-free. Podiatrists are trained to assess, diagnose, treat and evaluate biomechanical, neurological, vascular and dermatological abnormalities related to the foot and the lower limb in people of all ages. Over the past two decades, Podiatry has seen an amazing advancement in the technology that can be easily introduced into the daily practice to help diagnose different pathologies and provide early and effective treatment options to patients.
The University of Newcastle acknowledges the traditional custodians of the lands within our footprint areas: Awabakal, Darkinjung, Biripai, Worimi, Wonnarua, and Eora Nations. We also pay respect to the wisdom of our Elders past and present.
